Ok, that may be a bit much, but earlier today I was lamenting that I didn't have a Friday finish. Someone must have been listening, because the sewing fairies smiled upon me and I was able to cobble together almost two hours of sewing to finish this quilt top! This is my "squirrel" project I mentioned earlier this week.
And as if that wasn't enough, my husband came home early and was able to hold it up for a proper outdoor lit photo! I must be living right :) Now, how to quilt it?
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

What a beautiful finish! Both the baby and the quilt top :-)
ReplyDeleteYou could do some really neat texture quilting with lots of straight lines over the surface of the quilt.
I love the use of green. Great finish. What about diagonal straight lines for quilting - keeping it simple?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt top! Nice work! For quilting, I always debate about straight lines - to match the lines of the quilt, or curly free-motion - to contrast and balance out the straight lines. Great thing is, either one works great!
ReplyDeleteI have had my eye on this fabric.....seeing your quilt makes me think it's time to buy some! Beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours. So beautiful
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt!
ReplyDeleteBellissimo!

I say you pebble quilt it in the larger green squares and then do straight line concentric lines in geometric shapes across the prints. I'll do a screen capture and draw out what's in my head later...
ReplyDeleteIt turned out beautifully, and the Green is a Perfect match! Great you made something for yourself!
